My wife and I travelled to Moncton, New Brunswick on Friday to see Bill Engvall perform live at the CasinoNB Convention Center. It was one heckuva good time and he was funny as hell. His new material concerning his bladder stone experience was hilarious! Has anyone else seen him live and found his act as enjoyable as we did?

He does not need to use the word F*** three times in every sentence.

Good for him! It's nice that there are some people that can still do standup without resorting to nastiness for shock value. I hadn't heard of him before, so thanks for the introduction. His web page is at https://www.billengvall.com and I'll check out some of his material...

car wreck on the side of the road.. "Hey, have an accident?" "No thanks, I already have one...... here's your sign"

Yes! I've seen 3 of the 4 Blue Collar Comedy guys live (I'm just not a Larry the Cable Guy fan). Engvall was my favorite. His story about his son's first experience with "turn you head and cough" had me laughing so hard I hyperventilated.

All 3 of these shows were in suburban Chicago. When Ron White was telling the story about being arrested as a teenager, the audience screamed out "They call me Tater Salad" before he had the chance to deliver the punchline. He was visibly startled by that response. He admitted he thought that being booked to perform in Chicago was not a good idea, thinking there would not be a market for the Blue Collar brand of comedy. He was genuinely pleased to know he really did have a fan base "up north"

Sometimes I have thought that he would be the single best LCO ever. "And now, Al is coming in hot and just admitted he did not arm his electronics... anyone got a sign they can give him?"

Yep, I've seen Engvall and it was great. I highly recommend the Blue Collar Comedy Tour series of movies. Also seen Eddie Murphy live, funny with a lot more dirtyness.
Next month we're going to see the funniest man from late night television, Craig Ferguson. I can't wait.

Seen him once by himself, and once with the Blue Collar tour. Engval and Foxworthy were clean shows, but White and Cable Guy had more filthy language. When my wife and I seen him by himself, she won front row tickets from the radio.

I like them all: Foxworthy and Envall tied for first, then Ron, then Larry. Ron can be a bit nasty, and some of his stories are pretty sad, but I get the biggest kick out of the "I was drunk in a BAR - they THREW me into PUB-LICK" shtick.

I like the Ron story about being on a plane when one engine went out. The guy next to him asks how far the plane can fly on one engine.. "All the way to the crash site, which is good because that's where the emergency equipment will be"

Wife was at a meeting in Pa. Ron White was staying at the same hotel. They invited him to their dinner and he sat with her and her friends. She said he acted the same as on tv drinking and joking.

My wife and I went to see Bill a few years ago, when he performed in So. Calif. Great show, funny without dropping f-bombs every 3 seconds. If you do get a chance to see him, highly recommended!
