I see that I'm preaching to the choir here, but I'll say it anyway...Ted's customer service is as his website says...Simply the Best!

Thank you so much Brett.........
This is kinda funny man...
You just resurrected an old thread,,
I haven't seen my threads in ages...lol...

Teddy

Absolutely perfect Tony. ...
That's exactly the way that should fit...
That's how I've been doing my builds..
Works just fantastic. ...
There's just no telling how long that Kevlar shorty
will last because your not abrading it against the edge of the booster..
And you can remove, replace, maintain the main harness at will quite easiely..
Very cool Tony....
Thank you very much...
Severely cool build and rocket...
I wanted to see how that came out....

Teddy

Teddy,

Just wanted to mention that one of the two anchors you sent me had smaller nuts and washers that the other. I want to say the nut used a 5/16" wrench. Anyway, the smaller of the two fit in between the body and motor tube without needing to be ground down. The other one needed to be ground flush as you directed.

???
I thought they all had to be ground down...
Ya got lucky Tony......
Go buy a lottery ticket....lol...

Teddy

Now THIS is what I call a Harness Order!
Teddy has outdone himself again! I wouldn't fly anything else in my L3 Cert Attempt
than THESE:

( I sure hope Mark doesn't see this,, lol.. )

Teddy

Oh,, by the way Dave,,
If I know you,,

I don't know about that Teddy guy. Just kidding, yes Ted does great work. I kept him up half the night working out the limited space in my 5.5 AGM Pike last spring and he didn't even swear at me. When I got the product all I could do was smile and smiled even bigger when I saw my stages deploy perfectly. I'll vouch for Ted any day.

A little late to this thread, but have to agree that Ted is great to work with and has fantastic products and service

Heyyy,,,
Tanks guy's...
This is really cool...
I love to see pic's of the harnesses in the air...
I saw a pic once that Denis sent me of my harnesses hangin high over Munich Germany...
I thought that was pretty cool...lol...

Thank you so much guy's..

Teddy

Now its my turn to add to the props for Teddy! My first OneBadHawk harness set. The one is a standard 25' two loop 7/16" tubular kevlar, the second well that one was the topic of two days of near continuous emails. That one in the picture is a 30' three loop (technically 4 loop) with a built in 24" Y-harness, again the material is 7/16" TK. To say the least I am impressed with Teddy's Communication, Quality, and Promptness everything a successful vendor should be. Those harnesses ain't cheap, but I want my rocket back with all the parts connected, and Ted's price was within my reach. Thanks Teddy.

And now for some more harness porn....

L3build49.jpg

The 3 loop z-folded the way I normally do my harnesses to prevent tangling.

Way too cool Rich,,
Thank you a million times for the kind words man...
I am so glad you're lovin the harnesses...
Good for you Rich...
Super cool on the Z fold by the way,,,
that how ya do it...

Teddy

Yet another Thank You in this thread to Ted.

He voluntarily spent quite a bit of time today helping me with an order for my L3 cert project. After looking at what I had in mind (and had already ordered), he offered some excellent suggestions for a modified approach that will ultimately improve my odds for a successful flight - and recovery.

Thanks Ted - I sincerely appreciate your kind assistance.

Thank you so much Bill,,
it was my pleasure...
I'll get these right out today..
I have to do a run of 1" Tubular Nylon for someone else's order as well...
No probs at all....

I wish I could make all of you understand how much I enjoy doing this...
There truly is no way though...

Thank you very very much....

Teddy

Hey Teddy, ever given thought to carrying loop-lowering-line nomex-and-velcro enclosures?

If it's good enough for a paratrooper's gear, I assume there's a wide range of rocket sizes it'd be good for.

Exceptional dealer, his product speaks for itself. If you have questions he is extremely responsive and takes the time to explain the use case or best practice.

He goes out of his way to help his customers, even kept my wife busy talking at a show so I could go around the corner and make a purchse while she was not looking:wink:

I cannot believe I am not in here yet, but I never pass up an opprotunity to talk up Teddy! He is a model for all vendors.

Still have not had one fail, and some of them should have with extreme stress. I still have a nylon harness in a Madcow Bomarc that has not snapped after 25 plus flights. I should probably replace that...

Somehow I forgot I asked you this question. It's a velcro alternative to taped / rubberbanded z-folds or hand crocheted shock cords.

Think like a d-bag but for your harness only.

Pretty cool man, pretty cool indeed.

Dat's pretty funny,,
keep the wifey occupied,,
so you can go around the corner,, lol...

Thank you so much for the kind words you guy's...
They will just never grow old...
That is what keeps you cookin..

I have completely neglected the forum as I've been doing the family thing...
We had a wonderful holiday though...

The complex baggie harness thing,,
how about a "Z" fold ?? simpler ??
