Parachute Recovery and Safety Survey

Hi everyone, Fruity Chutes starting up a program to gather documented parachute performance and recovery data. We are trying to quantify the reliability of parachute recovery in general, what works, doesn't, and firm up best practices. This means when you fly one of our Iris Ultra chutes as your primary recovery you fill out a Flight Data form, take some pictures of the recovery and send it back to us. Best of all we pay $10 / completed servery form! Here is our webpage describing the program, and with the forms.

I will be participating in April with my 30"

I will be participating as well (assuming I can get my photography skills up to snuff). The Iris chutes are fantastic.

Yep, I've always had that problem when going to his website from the office.
I have to do my fruitychutes browsing from home.

Hi Guys, in a way past life the IP my website currently has was also the IP of a rather ghastly porn site! So I occasionally run into folks who's ISP's have blocked it and never go back to check again. If you guys can let me know off list who your ISP's are I will ask if they can remove it.

Gene, to clarify: This program applies only to your IRIS chutes, right?

Asking because I have at least half a dozen of your Classic chutes and those are pretty much all I fly.

Ideally it is the Iris chute we are trying to gather this information on. If you don't have any go ahead and submit with the CFC chutes. In that case they should to be 36"or larger and being used as primary recovery (not a drogue chute). And for high power rockets.
