The Drag Queen has not flown yet with all this chilly weather. It was -25 C or -13 F this morning and the coming weekend looks like snow.

Cute. Postage Stamps with lacquer clearcoat? Kurt:)

British Machin 1st and 2nd class stamps covered with some kind of artists clear coat for acrylic paint. Fingers are crossed that it is waterproof enough to handle all the winter slop we get at the local launch venue.

At Canada's Post recent postage increase that finish could cost a $1000 to replicate!

Very true! Mint Canadian stamps are expensive. The 722 stamps covering this three inch diameter rocket were all used/cancelled. I got the bulk of them in a swap with another stamp collector.

There's a fella in our club that covered a HyperLoc 835 in stamps. He said it cost him something like $20 for all the stamps and actually spent more on the clear-coat finish. He calls it, "Going Postal."

The Drag Queen has flown! A G106 Skidmark took her to 946 feet AGL at 218Mph. Recovered not too far away with no damage. Next flight will be on a full G118 Blue Streak.
