Think this can be done?
 
Maybe, but it probably doesn't meet requirements for NAR or TRA due to the fuel and safety issues. The individual in the video could seriously get hurt continuing to experiment the way he was, minimal safety gear and no "test stand" to get distance between him and the explosion when it happens.
 
Not to mention the motorcycle with its fuel tank a few feet away!
 
Episode 3 he got it in the air, but the chute deployed on ascent... with the control module?


Interesting. Watched a few go cart videos as well.
 
Looks like he is angling for a Darwin Award. Interesting idea though.
