The curved body shape kind of reminds me of those old metal stamped toys from decades ago, and slightly of the Tintin Destination Moon/Explorers on the Moon rocket or the Wallace and Grommit Grand Day Out moon rocket, just wondering if anyone has built an actual flying replica of the rocket shown in TRF logo. Anyone know what the inspiration behind this cartoon rocket was? Just curious.

Awesome! Those are some impressive builds. Really cool idea.

I think Troj or someone sold card stock kits. I still have mine in the package that I need to build some day.

Go to the "store" tab in the top tool bar, looks like they're still available.

I saw this one fly, can't remember if it was on I motor or even larger. Was largest motor ever flown on the HOVAR field. Nose cone of laminated 2x4's!. Launched off a 3/8" or 1/2" rod through the body. (to be clear, I did not build it.)

When I proposed the community rocket launch idea (haven forgotten about the two previous rounds), this was what I was thinking of building/launching.
