Just a little heads up!
Our normally planned launch was scrubbed due to weather last week.
We hope to get this one in as it will be the last of the year.

The final Go or No-Go will be made on Friday.

The launch is a GO!
I will be there Sunday for sure..... Not so sure about Sat.

Is anyone else going?

As far as I know; YES!
I'll be there with a couple ex motors for my 4" rocket.
It will be on the normal field next to our container.
Last launch of the year as hunting season gets underway.

TRF Folks:

Was a nice day to fly at METRA today. Weather was tad gusty at times, but mostly clear and not too cold.

Eight members of the RPI Rocket club RRS that I mentor came down to fly. Three of them got there level 1 certs out of four trying.
The fourth student couldnt find or recovery his rocket . We never did see it again after it got to apogee. ;(

Cheers

We also had one M flight; M 1297 in a 7.67" Loc tubing rocket to 4,300 ft or so.
along with quite a few K motor flights.
A TARC team was dialing their rocket for competition
