This is my first build thread and my first semi-scratch build rocket. A few months ago I had an idea to take two Baby Bertha Kits and make them into one rocket. The idea was to couple the tubes together, upgrade to 24mm D power, use all 8 fins, with only one nosecone. The result is a 15" long rocket with alot of weight in her tail. I am sure nose weight will be in order so any suggestions as to how much would be appreciated. The first pic is of the tubes coupled together and the 24mm mount in.

All 8 on now. The upper 4 were put on so the middle of the upper fin was even with the top of the lower fin.

Last post for now. This is her standing up. Sorry, but it will be a loooong time before I paint it. I live in Wisconsin and we won't see 50 degrees for probably at least 3 months!:( Any suggestions on nose weight?????

Do a swing test,

She's got lot of tailweight but also lot of fin area,
its likely that you ain't gonna need much if any nose weight...

Remember to load her with heaviest motor she's gonna fly
on before swinging...
