I did my first launch with a video camera on Saturday. I launched a LOC Forte' carrying an Aiptek MPVR camcorder. The first flight was successful, and I posted the video on the YouTube Rocket Stage.

The second flight didn't go quite as well. The shock cord broke where it attached to the nosecone. The nosecone fell from almost 1000 feet! I expected to see it smashed and stuck in the ground, but we found it laying on it's side without a scratch. I didn't get any video from this flight, but the camcorder survived OK.

I have more information about my LOC Forte' camera rocket posted on my website at https://home.swbell.net/davehein/ModX/forte.html .

Nice, just in my opinion, cut out all that upsidedown stuff.
Granted its good to show for dramatics but, if nothing else is really identifiable other than spinning, trim it up a bit.
Good quality.

I liked the beginning where, instead of people watching a rocket on the pad, the rocket on the pad is watching the people.

Brian, Arnold and 10Ft,

Thanks for the comments. I'll probably add a warning to the YouTube video that the last one minute of video may cause dizziness and nausea. Of course, this may encourage some of the YouTube crowd to watch the whole thing.
