Steve Eves 1:10 Scale Saturn V: The Countdown Begins
The clock is ticking and history is going to be made April 25, 2009. Are you going to be part of it? Steve Eves 1:10 scale Saturn V was invited and appeared at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama for the 40th Anniversary of Apollo Program. The rocket will also be on static display at MDRA's Red Glare VI launch scheduled for April 17, 18 and 19, 2009. Coincidentally, this is the same rocketry group that will assist Steve in flying the 36-foot-tall 1,600-pound project. MDRA's fall, winter, and spring field is Higgs Farm in Price, Maryland, which will also be the site of the world-record flight of the Saturn V.
