after working on finishing some rockets I decided to work on an old favorite that I bought parts for and never worked on.

Specs:

4" LOC BT
54mm MMT
1/4" plywood fins
1/4" CR's and bulkheads
DD capable

I will hopefully get this done in time for Red Glare II and fly it on a frinds 54-800 if he approves of the build. Pics to follow!

here is the first set all stacked (LOC nosecone, I will get a scale one after the first flight)

Here is a view of on 1/4" fins slot

Here is the bulkhead inside the nosecone

Here is the bulkhead glued in the nosecone. It looks messy but its nice and strong.

well, I wet sanded the tubes and I am working on the nosecone. I have teh white painted on the small tube. I will start to cut the fins out later this week.

here is a shot of the nosecone and BT's. I need to cut 2 more fin slots on the BT and cut out the fins.

Hoping to put the final 2 coats on the nosecone tomorrow and let it dry so I can put the silver tip on :D

I want to be able to put a K550 in it and have no regret :D
