I'd sure like too :)

thanx, Ben

P.S. why?

I am seriously thinking about going, but if I go I will be flying out to Vegas. I have always driven to launches before. If I do go I will want to fly something and have never flown with a rocket or electronics on a plane.

I think you will be fine. I would put you electronics on you carry on and pack your rockets in a foam peanuts in a suitcase. Never flown but it can't be impossible :p

thanx, Ben

That might be pushing it a bit...

You could probably take the electronics with you, but the rockets may need to be shipped.

Hi Guy's, That brings up some interest, I have been getting a few emails from flyers asking if they could ship there rockets and hardware to me and then me bring it to the launch? Is this something that is needed? If so let me know and we'll see how big a demand it is. We would have to have a cut off date for shipping, But if something looks like it lagged behind, I could always go back home at the end of the day and check. This time I onlt live 45 mins from Jean dry lake. Thanks, Scott 702 655 2538 [email protected] Just Rockets,Inc/BSD High Power Rocketry

You can ship directly to the Primm Valley Hotel where the banquet will be held. The following info can also be found on the LDRS26.org webpage:

The following information for shipping NON-HAZARDOUS stuff (in other words, stuff that does NOT include things like: motors, ejection charges, ignitors, flammable liquids, solvents, feminine hygiene products, etc.) applies to all Primm hotels:
"Storage space is very limited in the cage area of the Shipping & Receiving Department. In addition, we have no storage facilities for items of high value and the Hotel cannot be responsible for loss or damage of any shipment after delivery.

"Please note, there will be a handling charge per package and/or box. You must contact the Convention Services Manager or the Shipping/Receiving Department between the hours of 7:30am – 3:30pm to pick up any packages shipped to the hotel. The Hotel will not contact you. Shipments that require special handling (refrigeration, etc.) must be coordinated with the Shipping/Receiving Department prior to shipping any packages and advising them of the number to expect.

The Hotel will not accept the following deliveries:
1.Collect (C.O.D.) Shipments
2. Shipments that require a forklift to unload.

The Gold Strike hotel will not accept shipments. All shipments must be directed to one of the Primm hotels.

Shipments to the Primm Valley Hotel for a meeting/sleeping room should be addressed as follows:
YOUR NAME
C/O SALES DEPARTMENT & NAME OF CONVENTION/MEETING

31900 LAS VEGAS BLVD. SOUTH
PRIMM, NV. 89019
Hold for arrival on: (Date)

I hate being off topic but is there anyone who knows what to plan to fly at LDRS 26? All I have seen so far looks to be the 2 very big scale BSD Diablo and the Thor-x.

I was planning to have my Thor-X done by then and send it 10K feet.

Well, a 6 inch deuce is flying on skidmarks...

I'm hoping to have my 4x upscale Manta Bomber ready. While it's not huge, still it should be big compared to the original. I am also working on a scratch built 6" rocket. More like an Echo....
