I'm not in S. Carolina, but glad to have moved from Tampa, FL to N. Carolina. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
 
I was stationed in North Charleston, SC for two years does that count? What part will you be moving to?
 
My job requires me to live in Ohio, but I grew up and spent most of my life in SC just outside Charlotte, NC. Went to college at The Citadel in Charleston, then the Marines stationed me just down the road in Beaufort. How's that for luck?

Didn't really start moving until I *left* the service!
 
I like the Spartanburg area it isn't as well, drab as I think Charleston is.
 
I lived in Greenville a few years back. That area is a nice area. Easy access to mountains and ocean.
 
I really like Greenville. That's where we'd move if we could go back to SC. Live near the mountains, and vacation in the Lowcountry.
 
We fell in love with Chimney Rock, NC. Only an hour away. You could go up on sucessive weekends and watch the colors change. I wasn't into rockets at that time but have seen Orangeburg launch info.
