Nice looking build! Where do you get the decals for the screw heads, if you don't mind saying?
Great build! Glad it came back undamaged.
Nice launch shots and a beautiful looking day!
Lifting off at the AMA site in Muncie at ROCI's Central Indiana Regional Fun Fly on an E9-6.
And the last 2 worthwhile pictures. The rest are smoke and dandelions.
Rick Randol of New Way Space Models with a new prototype and also Rick's 4 Way on C6-5s. (Was later launched on D21s, which was...
A few more pictures of the days events
Cole's Sword, Jay Berry's Arcas, Bill Eichelberger's upscale Rascal on it's ill fated voyage, and Cole's 2 Way
Saturday turned out to be a so so day for flying. Was kind of windy, but the killer was low cloud coverage (probably around 1000 ft until mid afternoon). We were limited to low and mid power launches...
Sure is a sweet looking build! Looking forward to seeing the finished build. Good luck with the weather.
When I use them in 18mm C and B, I flatten them, then crease the end and fold it in half and push in alongside the ignitor. Haven't had one come out yet. Kind of a pain though.
Post the launch shots!
ROCI will host it's May CIRFF on May 11 and 12 at the AMA in Muncie, IN from 10:30 to 5:00 each day. Ed Hartle of Hartle Engineering and Lee Berry of Merlin Missile Solutions will be there with...
Thanks. I found the plans on Ye Olde Rocketshoppe, but couldn't find any decals, so I just winged the paint scheme. It flew pretty good, but turned into the wind.
No problem. Here's a shot with a better background. For some reason, the shot of it's first launch turned into a picture of a chain link fence. Hopefully, I'll get a shot of it out on the pad and...

Glued the launch lug on the Star Warrior today. Took it to the ROCI launch April 27 and had it ready to go, out at the pad and said to my self, well @#%@, how am i going to launch this?. Fortunately,...
MParker and Pantherjon,
Thanks for the replies. I guess I am one of those who ask questions instead of looking up what MDF is.
Neat looking design! Couple of questions: What is MDF and why did you cut the aft corner off of the tab? Clearance for the centering ring fillet?
My thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
Didn't get a good seal on the mask and the paint ran under it. Just the tip of the nosecone is brown. The tip comes off to attach a lifting fixture when loading/unloading the missle. With it off, you...
Tried to get the brown nose cap painted on today. Turned out looking like crap, so i got most of the paint wiped off while it was still wet, sanded the rest off after ti dried and repainted it white....
Looks like a great day for launching rockets. Pictures look good, even if a little out of focus. I have a hard time just keeping the rocket in the picture, much less keeping in focus.
Great looking rocket and superb paint job! Looking forward to the flight pics/videos.
Art Applewhite does have a lot of neat saucers of various sizes and shapes.
Those are really nice looking rockets and they fly great.
Another informative build in the works. I get a lot out of your builds, as well. Thanks for posting them. Do you have a heat issue with the casting resin, as it cures?
Great looking build!
Wow!. That's some intricate work. How tall is the structure? About 8 inches?
Great flights and rockets. Looks like a beautiful day!
Thanks Jim. Actually, I bought 2 of them when I ordered, so I have another to build. Although, I had my eye on a different one of your kits when the time comes. You have plenty of really cool ones...
