Albright and Nail knots are great for lines of unequal diameter. Either of those might be a good solution.

Just got mine today. It looks easy enough to use. I'll need to make a note of the turn on/record/save/turn off sequence while it's fresh on my mind, or else I'll forget at the field. It feels a...
The estimated delivery on mine is showing the 26th. Maybe it'll be here sooner than that.
I just ordered one too. I'll compare notes with you after mine gets here.
Has anyone tried one of USB flash drive cameras sold on eBay? They have the same profile as a thumb drive, with the camera pointing out one end, which makes it ideal. I've used the keychain cameras...
Here's a rocket I made with a 2" mail tube and a plastic kids meal toy. It has a dual 24mm motor mount. I called it Cloudy with a Chance of Turbulence. The wrap was made with white adhesive paper...
I think support for data acquisition at the field is key. It looks like that's where you're headed, based on the screenshot you shared. I can't wait to see what you come out with!
Zipfizz containers work well. I've seen them at Sams Club in packs of 20. There's a picture of one in this post...
I miss the Titan II, Mini Shuttle, and Citation Patriot. There were lots of other awesome looking kits from mid eighties I loved but never got to build.
I really liked how the Blackhawk R&D kits looked. I was only able to purchase/build one (Eliminator) before they went out of business.
I am. It's awesome.
That's what I started using recently too. Works great. You probably have this, or something similar, but there's a nice app for getting video stills off the iPhone, called VideoPix.
Nice rocket...
Thanks for the kind words :) I'm glad you find it useful.
My update was approved for the App Store yesterday. It now has a motor look-up option for the Altitude Prediction->Data Assistant screen. This update also fixes a minor issue on the Static Pressure...
Looks like a BT-60 tube slides in there with just a little wiggle room. I used my not yet flown Deuce's Wild to test. Unfortunately I dinged the nose cone in the process :( oh well, not a big deal,...
I picked one up while I was there. Your rear eject idea sounds good.
I'm in Target, and saw these pencil cases for 1.00? Anyone ever made a rocket from one?
The painting mask works great! Here's the painted pic. Can't wait to fly it.

I don't have the painted pics yet, but here's what I've got so far.
I deviated a little to add a payload bay...

Cool! I ended up going with the traditional scheme, but using gray and orange. Almost done. I'll post some pics soon. Pink and black sounds wicked.
This is turning out very awesome Scotty.
Being an alignment tool junkie, I really want one. Looks very nice and easy to use.
Cool! That's awesome. Great paint job too.

Here's a pic of our 210 lb St. Bernard with Mechagodzilla eyes.
Cool! I used to have a black cat named Anubis.
Yep, I agree about the launcher. My go box should work.. The relay's been on my mind a lot lately because of my 4 motor cluster micro Nike Hercules. Three failed flights so far. Once I get it built...
Not sure yet. I'm going to dig around in the garage and see what I have on hand. Maybe a basic white and black would look good. I should probably check the Deuce gallery for some inspiration. :)
My latest update was just approved for the App Store. This adds a body tube look-up feature to the Altitude Prediction calculator. There is a new button on the Data Assistant screen which will...
One thing I love about micros, is all my rocket building operations have moved to the kitchen table. :)
I've been working on my Deuce's Wild! over the past weekend. It's been a very fun build. The quality is great, and everything fits perfectly. I'm planning to use this as a test vehicle to compare my...
