$100 at my local hobby shop... wow
Ive done a foot gap successfully, 2 flights so far on the rocket.
The booster needs some type of recovery parachute or it will come in ballistic, happened to me on other rockets...
Ha Yea! I finally finished my scratch ripstop 24" chute for it... We are ready to fly again!
This is what it looked like before and after the flight.
I think that will help you.
Mhmmm, I will have to think about that. I got the up part good..., but the down part is a little twisty.
Launched again, Heres a recap of what happened!
Launched the SSLE Eagle and my clustered 2...
Some kind of cheep altimeter or stageing timer/ duel deployment system... One unit does not have to do all of this this though
If there are things like this for under $30, I would buy them.
Im thinking that X5 shock cord is too much... The booster section might of been gaing speed when it got to the end of the cord.
My recent launch...
I know what you mean! I have 3/16 on my Guardian. All my low powered(C and below) have 3/16. D12 and up gets 1/4 lugs.
I would say 1/4 for your QCC, just to be sure its good.
^Cluster booster rocket...
Yes I know the video skipped a few frames, At the best part too!
Last launch was my S.S.L.E Eagle rocket on its second flight. I got a vid of this too.
This time it used a D12-3 and 2xB6-2s in the fall off boosters.
One of the boosters light a little late, so...
Next was a scratch with these smoke balls*(bombs is not a good term on a rocket) I got a video of this rocket, I dont know if i will upload to youtube... maybe later. It was a pretty good flight on a...
IT was a good day here in Florida! 6 rockets launched, 5 recovered. 11 engines burned!
First off was the estes Gardian, on an A8-3... Maybe got to tree top level, but got an idea of the winds...,...
Thats really cool, I like the program!
That was a good explanation!
I cannot agree more!
I went through 3 flights on my estes Saturn V until I got a picture perfect one I really liked!
1 with a D12, it was nice, but to low.
1 E20, Crash, no nose weight, little...
50 feet should be plenty as long as the chutes arnt packed so tight...
50 feet is pretty far up... Now where the ejection occurs...Is another story.
Then... go with E12-4s...
Wouldnt this metal/steel cap melt at such high speeds???
Im pretty sure they have A10-5 engines, or that might be the A8-5s....
I really would think that it would be going that fast after 3 seconds of coasting.... but you do have the data
FAVORITES! Well the biggest ones of course! :o
Scratch built goodness right there! Nothing like building a rocket just like you want to.
Took a bit with smaller prototypes, but I...
Maybe I have a chance?!? ( :
All pictures are mine, you may use,
All are Scratch Built, except for the esters Saturn V and Guardian.
Oh, and the dates are in the pictures...(is that good or...
This is why I like to use larger body tubes, bt-60s are nice.
I have always used bt-50s at motor mounts and stuffer tubes. There is only 1 rocket that I have built that actually uses bt-50 as a...
If the rocket didnt hit the road, do you think the rocket would have survived, or at least the motor case?
I have done some pretty good 2 staged rockets. There is a lot to think about, How will the stages be recovered? Gap staging the booster engines?
Is this going to be a scratch build Saturn V or a...
How do drug laws hurt people?
REALLY, DRUGS HURT NOBODY.... Think.
What country do you like in?
I make rockets out of random tubes and paper cones for the nose and some balsa for the fins, cardboard for the engine mounts, all in all quite easy.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO KEEP 1000 PMs....
Really, you're in the title... You are PM box is full. Joking?
