Very nice! Great take on the Mud Wasp.
The Alien Troop Mover was manufactured by Thrustline Aerospace, nice rocket! It came with 6 of the little alien paratroopers. The EMRR review can be seen here.
Well done! :clap::clap:
Dusting a plastic chute with baby powder will help make it open more easily.
Sounds like a good day All in all. If I may make a suggestion fly the Astra with a streamer instead of a chute. I fly mine this way all the time.
Here is the thread on TRF1 regarding the 4 by 24mm Fat Boy. I used 4.4 oz of nose weight. I also cut off the base of the nose cone and pack the chute there. The 24mm and 4 by 18 mm has 4 oz of nose...
It is tumble recovery were we launch the grass is fairly soft, the booster is 24mm.

Quest SuperBird comes to mind, I have also used them in my ASP 24mm V2 with an adaptor.
That will work! Good luck with the build we will need to see pics!
I have built a few Fat Boys, a two stage, a 4 by 18mm cluster, a single 24mm and a 4 by 24mm cluster as well as the one referenced above.
See here and here.
The Estes C6 and D12 have a similar burn time see D12 and C6 data sheets from the NAR web site. I think I used a D12-5 and 4 C6-5s.
Wow the Mini Magg makes the Onyx look tiny!:y::D I have an Onyx great flyer. If I decide to go for my L1 the Magg will probably be te rocket.
Very cool! I did the same thing, see this thread it has flown on a D12 and 4 C6s all but one motor lit and it still screamed off the pad.
I had the same thing happen with my green crayon, should have purchased the RED one. I did manage to find the fin unit, gotta figure out what to build around it.
I have the Badger 155 Anthem dual action air brush and have had good luck with it. I believe most folks here will recommend the Paache single action. I do wish I had known about using a CO2...
I guess this should go here. It is a Baby Bertha with a Deuce motor mount and nose cone. The launch pic is courtesy of Fliskits (thanks Jim).

Very interesting, that is the first time I have ever heard That enamel can be used over acrylics. I will have give this a try. Thanks
I do the same. Have not had a problem with the paper lifting either, I also use CA on the edges of the fins ( not the root edge).
Very nice work! They look great! Mini Brutes are cool!
Fliskits Deuce's Wild and Estes Fat Boy
I have no name for this rocket, 1.637" diameter 24mm motor mount rips on a D12.

Bt55 OD 1.325". I believe it is OOP at this point, but should be easy enough to clone.
Funny we bought two as well, got them online for real cheap. I found a couple of pics of it, it is stock.
