True. But Bill is on Merritt Island- I'd be concerned about the corrosive salt air. Even NASA duct tapes rocket panels at the pad to
help protect against this. (Bring'em in the house, Bill!)

OMG! Why am I just now finding this thread?!? Aaron- are you going to unveil this beauty at NEFAR, SRA or TTRA? I *gotta* see it in person!
I've had a number of Weasel's and have flown streamers and chutes. As mentioned field and weather conditions drive the decision, but I also factor in recovery weight- (motor casing vs. single use)....

Peter,
Thank you very much for reviving and updating RoTW!
I've dug thru a couple of my build threads where we had already traded a few nitpicks.
They're summarized here in case you didn't...

There is already a 'Rate this Thread' pull down in the upper right. No body seems to use it.
BTW- I rated this thread as 2 stars (Bad). :)

Thanks! I thought there might have been a new OR feature added and missed it on the dev list... ;)
Good answers to your main question... But I'm curious how you're using OR to determine this?
#4 looks like it'll create drag.
#1 would be a nightmare to align (maybe)
#3 is too plain.
#2 is a great balance of all options!
(NICE design BTW).
