The D24 18mm reload are always a little tight so I just peal a little paper off. I have never had this problem with 24 or 29mm reloads but it could happen.

If you want to hear something loud. The loudest I have heard so far is the Aero-Tech D24-4. That is loud!
The Mrs. wants to come. Ia there any antique shops in Beeville?
:y:Where do you get those from?
You are truly blessed.
I use surplus Air force flight suits. Works great and you get quite a few from one suit. Got the last one on Ebay for 20 bucks plus 5 bucks shipping!
Depends how you clean them, how well you clean them, and what you clean them with. In the field I use baby wipes to do a quick clean, then at home I soak them in hot water and dish soap. I then take...
OK, I ordered 4 packs of reloads and received them yesterday. Two F39 kits and two E28 kits. All came with these new igniters. I won't miss the copper heads.
Jeff I'm doin' great started a new...
I just received an order of Aero-Tech 24mm reloads and to my surprise they didn't come with copper heads but with a two wire igniter that looks a little bit like a twiggy. Anyone else have this...
Thanks folks.
OK, so this question probably has been asked before but since I am new to nomex. How do you use one? Just bundle the chute inside or what?
Basswood and to fit a loc 4 inch tube.

OK, Website address?

I am looking for a round nose streak type nose cone. Any ideas? BMS is no longer doing semi custom work.
Andrew
I use a 3/16ths inch drill with a stop on it and use calipers to measure seconds. Never had a problem.

OK, I need to retire now that I have seen people say that Copperheads are a good igniter. Please someone put me out of my misery!:y:
All joking aside if they work for you use um!

Mine are all mid power go to my sites gallery to see them. Although I guess I could shove a G138 into my great white to make it high power. It has flown on a Road Runner F60, Aero-tech G38, G53,...
But it takes a real rocket man to make a tube fin rocket with seven or eight or nine tubes equally spaced around the main tube. My best so far is eight. Send me your email address and I will send...
That's what I am trying to say, in Texan, it's the amps that fires the igniter. Even my homemade ones need more amps than what 4AA batteries can produce. In other words you need to look at volts...
Now that we put this poor fellow through the wringer here is an idea to help. Here is what I do on single use motors F and larger. I take a short piece of 1/8" launch rod and run it up into the...
I know a few level one guys, and a couple of level two guys, that I would trust with my son's life. But I know more with the what I call the high power god syndrome. I would not trust them as far...
I'm with you. Some of these High Power folks ain't go the sense God gave geese.
Andrew
Twice. If the high power guys hadn't been so, IF IT AIN'T HIGH POWER IT AIN'T WORTH FLYING, to the land owner, it would be great for just about any size. As it is it is a great field for G's. I...
That is something you would really want to fly out at Shiner.
Andrew
You are a steely eyed rocket man for sure Jeff!
Andrew
On our launch June 30th, One of the guys flew every composite he had with Estes igniters with out a hitch. Must be bad karma(or as we say in Texas Tarma). Or the rocket gods are mad at you, or you...
Close enough for government work.
Andrew
At the speed you are talking about in that rocket you want it stable. A land shark at that speed would be dangerous.
Andrew
The wildman reloads site is kinda hard for me to understand, me being from Texas and all. How do you figure where the reloads are.
Andrew
I sure wish I could paint like that. I can design rockets but my painting is terrible. Just ask Jeff.
