I've had to downgrade a bunch of machines from IE10 to IE9 - too many issues with some of our critical web based apps...
At least one of the Target stores near me just added some RTFs and motors in the last couple of weeks - I had cleared that store out of clearance motors a couple of years ago...

Chris - I've got a scan of the Quest #2014 X-15 if that's the correct one. I'll e-mail it to you directly.

I got hit from behind a few years ago - the driver who hit me took a couple of days turning it in to his insurance and by the time they called me, over a week had passed. By that time, I had tired...
+1 on the Cosmos Mariner. Mine has 2 flights - one near crash and one crash.
I just got an email from Tower Hobbies that E12-4 motors were removed from my wish list because they can no longer be purchased from Tower Hobbies...

Over the weekend I flew two E12-4 motors dated 11-15-11 that I got from Tower Hobbies - one in a Maxi Alpha III, the other in an Interceptor E. Both perfect flights, no issues, except for a popped...
I'm thinking about doing that with my Bear den - I have 10 or 11 boys and a couple of bulk 12 packs of Vikings and Alpha III's... :-)
Use it somewhat- but block the games. I don't need to know about people's farms, wars, etc.
I used Krylon Fusion. PVC was cleaned and roughed up slightly with steel wool before painting. The paint does chip off with rough handling but seems to be sticking pretty well.
Chris
Just a metal spring clamp underneath the top PVC piece. Works well!

A C6 more than likely won't have enough of an initial thrust spike to get a Big Daddy off of the pad safely. See this review. The C11 has an average thrust of 10.9N, while a C6 has a 4.7N average...
When I was going to college in Geneseo NY, there was a donut shop with a "Police parking only" sign out front...
DiCamillo Bakery peanut sticks! (Niagara Falls, NY)... Of course, I'm probably biased because I worked there from 1990-2005...

My most accurate predictor of landing location is...
1) Look for lone tree within 1500 feet of launch pad.
2) That is where the rocket will land... :p
Chris
Also, using an 18mm C6-0 in the booster rather than a 24mm booster *and* having it loose (not friction fitted) contributed - when the second motor ignited, it blew out the booster casing and the...
I don't have my Model Aviation mag with me, but is it the Estes Shuttle Xpress?
Chris
High Build Primer :-)
There is, for the Bear rank, a 'requirement' to build a model rocket. And seeing as I'm the Bear den leader next year, guess what we'll be doing... :)

I have a bunch of nice state parks around my area (Niagara Falls, NY) including 2 that work well for rockets. The only issue is that rockets/airplanes (and even kite flying, according to the parks...
Most flown is an Estes Patriot (I don't remember if it was an E2X or RTF) that is used to check conditions when I fly - probably 15-20 flights on it. As for most battle damaged - I have a Space Ship...
I've had Liberty Bell Mercury Redstone kits that were stapled.

I've used the Quest Starhawk on 1/2A's for a very small launch area. The next group I do will be building Estes Vikings or Quest Novias and launching on A8-3 or A6-4.
Chris
That's kind of like the Augie II just without fins...
Over 50, but I'm counting the 4 bulk packs I bought on clearance last year. I'll be using those with the cub scouts over the next 2-3 years. For myself, I have about 25-30 unbuilt.
Chris
If I remember correctly, Mike Fritz from Estes posted last year or the year before that Michaels was moving towards a smaller section of mostly RTF stuff. 2 of the Michaels in my area did that, one...
About 65 ready to fly, 4 retired due to flight damage (mostly repaired), 2 in various stages of painting, 1 under construction, which is *really* low for me...

According to Micromark, ProWeld and Tenax are the same thing. They also sell something called "Same Stuff" that is... the same stuff as Tenax...
