That one was just 1mm Depron rolled in like a 6" circle, with a tad of overlap, since the internal stuffer tube and C-rings had all the support. As you saw, it flew OK, a wimpy charge did not help...

That Tomahawk looked *weird* going up ever so slooooowly, then gliding back slower than you'd think it 'should'. Now, that Jayhawk....that sure looked like my old...

That sure beats the old 'stick two extra rods in the ground' trick to keep HPR gliders centered for take-off. Yes, take-off, since they are aircraft (sorta).
