YUP, or 10 years just for owning the wrong combination of items at one time, like this...
Or a pillow??
Sad situation, idiots trying to ruin a childs life forever over something like that. We should have not even heard of this incident, should have been handled at the school without police or anyone...
One late morning about 7-8 years ago my boss came out and told me that I should come to the job trailer, someone wanted to talk to me. I got inside the trailer and there was an FBI agent and Federal...
My 4" DD Mad Dog with Aeropack tailcone. Great flier!!!

That is global warming causing global cooling!!!:confused2:
No need to do anything: NRA
I'd bet there won't be a trial. He'll take the best plea bargain he can get.
Don't they have any of these in that area???126418 On foot, injured, should have had him in 15 minutes.
Best not to launch in an area with a high probability of rockets landing on a power line. I would also call your local power co. and find out how much it is going to cost you for getting your rocket...
Heck, Google Earth West TX, a good chunk of town is less than 1000ft. away from this plant. Homes starting at 450ft, a park/playground 500ft, a middle school 800ft. away. The whole town is within...
I check the news once in awhile to see what's new, most of it is repeat, repeat, repeat, but also has some new developments. Of interest to me is the photo of the package next to the mail box....
I guess you could if your top CR is at the height of the shortest motor your going to use.

I've been watching also, to me looks like BP explosions. Sure hope I'm wrong, but after years of watching the MythBusters that's what they looked like to me.
I just measured a cap thru the package, od = 25-26mm.
Holy S#!T!!, did not know that the newer reloads come with a cap like that!! Looked at my recent purchase of DM loads, they do have a big red cap for the ejection charge. I will stick with the paper...
No way that paper disk for the ejection charge caused what happened. Mesh is clogged or piston got stuck. Also I don't trust that disk by itself, I always tape over it ( one layer of masking tape)...
Did you recover any??
I assemble mine a few days to a day before launch. Much nicer doing it in the workshop rather than outdoors. I just snug up the closures and do the final tightning before they are used and add the BP...
You can get everything right here: http://www.valuerockets.com/
The mid sections should be 10 ft. long and should be bolted together. How to remove the bolts depends on the condition of them. As far as being the safest way of removing it, a snorkel/ boom lift...
OK, I see, I haven't bought any SU in a long time. A guy in our club just recently got back into the hobby, and he has launched a bunch of the Estes F's & G's without any problems. Never seen the new...
When I became a bar, I flew a couple hundred or so of single use Aerotech motors during the first 7-8 years back into the hobby and only had 2 that blew out the nozzels at pressure up. No damage to...
I think SU-Pro has a better "ring" to it than Pro-SU. SUPro!!!
Pro, A-1, Top Notch, Best-all used extensively and within the same industries, fields, what-ever. I see no issue with Pro-this or that as long as it is not exactly the same as Pro-this or that.
And I thought that CTI was selling propellant made by Aerotech when I first seen White Thunder. You know Blue Thunder, White Lightning.
Same here, except I will flatten my cases with a sledge hammer so no one else can use them. Pro is a prefix used by thousands of companies to represent their products. The rocketry community is small...

YUP!! What Cor uses next post. They have them in white or black. He has the right link!!!
