I used the Aeropac tailcone retainer on my Extreme Wildman and it worked great. I also use a custom made 75-54 reducer and it has worked fine.
I have been wearing Converse All Stars since I was a kid and have collected over 200 pairs over the years. Chuck Taylor was a basketball player that wore them and then became their leading salesman....

CTI shows that the L730 is for the 6GXL case. Is this case a 6G or a 6GXL? They also list the 54mm rear closure at $39.95. I am interested in all the 54 stuff you have if you can tell me if the...
The build looks great Dave!!! Too bad you are going to miss this month's launch. Are you going to have the Magnum done for next month's launch?
See you next month.
Patrick
No, I am in California. I am going to fly it @ LDRS though
No e-bay. It will be motor ejection only. I am going to use a CTI 38mm 6 grain for the first flight, then on to a K550 for the second. I used rust-oleum orange for the paint. Then a clear coat...
Looking good Dave!!! Can't wait to see it fly.

Wildman Darkstar with decals by Stickershock. Another great set of decals Mark!!!
Thanks again,
Patrick
I just finished a Drago using Stickershock's decals. It turned out great.
Thanks again for the great decals Mark!!

I just finished a Polecat Aerospace 5.5" Jayhawk. I did a few modifications from the kit and added the tunnel on the underside as well as the antenna on the sides. It's 71" long and has a 54mm...
I used a Polecat 10" Thumper for my L3. Flew it on an M1770 skidmark. I did use a soller composites sleeve on the body and glassed it tip to tip. It weighed in at 70lbs with motor. It flew great...
I thought this was The Rocketry Forum, not the POS Redneck Truck Forum
Very nice!!! I have one sitting in the build pile, but now that I see how nice yours turned out I may have to move it to the front of the line. What color did you use on the nose?
Patrick
Dave,
The 6' rocketman chute lists a decent rate of 17.67 ft/sec for a 8lb rocket. I think your magnum will probably weigh more than that. Do you have any idea on the weight yet?
Once you know...
Dave,
I have an 8' rocketman chute. I can show it to you at the next launch. It has worked great for me and I had Ky make me a kevlar Y bridle as well. I use it quite a bit along with the cert...
You'll have it done before the next launch!! See you then.
Patrick
Mark created another great set of decals for my Extreme Wildman.

I must jump in and say that Mark is way ahead of the pack in both customer service and quality. I have ordered at least six different sets and they have arrived quickly and been top quality. I...
What's Up Hobbies, Jack Garabaldi.
Lee,
I also use sleeves quite a bit. I use centering rings that I pound into each end of the tube with a rubber mallet to keep the sleeve tight against the body tube, then I can put a piece of...
Why is it that CHILDREN are even able to access anything about Mid or High Power Rocketry? Shouldn't there be limited access for minors to access any of this material???
Here is a picture that Mark Canapa took of the launch.
I get mine from Mcmaster-carr
It is a yes for me as long as the cost of the retainer, harness, chute etc.. does not cost me more than buying them seperately.
I did. I flew it on a J180T Moonburner. It flew great to 2600'. Plan on flying it again next month on a larger motor. I hope to have some pictures soon.
