Add me to the "Excited about this!" list. :)
How did the rocket recovery adventure go?
Darn, was hoping to join you, sounds like it could be fun! But, can't make it on the 15th. :(
When are you thinking about doing this?

Any update on the corn situation? Has it been cut yet? Any farmers cussing as they pull rockets tangled up in the combine?
I've been quitting rocketry for 15 years! I'm apparently not very good at it. ;)
Has the corn been harvested yet? I imagine my Fatboy will get tangled in the combine harvester at some point.

I knew I shouldn't have flown my 7.6" diameter Fatboy on Friday the 13th! ;)
I'd love to see that fly!
Sadly, very very few. :(
Not going to happen. Call the vendor you bought the kit from.
Agreed. Nice stuff.....if you can get it.
Very cool! My favorite rocket.
Wading through old posts, I found this one.
As near as I can tell, this is how the RDAS GPS works (or not). I have 2 GPS expansion boards, and both do exactly what you describe.
I'm pretty sure I had a run in with one of those local swap creatures.
Great, thanks!
I can't seem to find the details. Is there a direct link?
Thanks!

I had a hagburger, and then grabbed an Aunt Cookies sub before driving home.
I'd be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that it will NOT happen. ;)
Sadly, not many will make it to NYPower this year. :(
Most of us are gathering at Dutch's MuckFest launch this coming weekend.

SCI-POWER 1 was a blast! I sure do wish I could make it to this launch!
Nice, I would be interested!

That's the old sig, I can't find the most recent (longer) sig.
Testing....

Funniest thread, ever!
It was an Aardvark kit. The 'company' is long gone, for obvious reasons.
Here are the fins from the worst kit I ever built in my life......
http://rmpitzer.syr.edu/current/sandhawk/finwarp.jpg
These fins were warped quite a bit. I debated cutting new fins...but...
You're really worried about a 1/8" curve over a 14" span? I wouldn't fool around trying to fix that, I'd just use them as is.
I find this discussion interesting, and am glad to see it wasn't locked completely.
That being said, I still don't understand why the original thread in question remains. The point of that thread...
LOL, you're a funny man, Art!:p
