Single use G motors are HAZMAT as are F reloads for the 29/40-120 case.
The 39/360 I49 would be a good choice. For the same case as the I225, the I59 works but is White Lightning at the beginning of the burn. Both have 8 sec burns.
When it was discontinued, there were both NFPA and ATF limits at 62.5g propellant. Both of these restrictions are gone. There is no reason not to bring the G33 back.
Maybe enough requests to...
My storage unit (10' x 15') is nearly full, mostly rockets and parts.
We had perfect weather for the April Orangeburg launch. May was not so good...
I've looked through many web sites and comments above and have narrowed it down to a few. One is Tripoli Pittsburgh's ( http://www.tripoli-pgh.org ) June 1-2 launch or Valley Aerospace (...
VCP will give measurements from the back.
When I ran one on my test stand, I only got about 1350 N-s.
Your next investment needs to be a tracker. It will pay for itself with one 'lost' rocket recovery.
A little far from Georgia
I've looked at these and have some possibilities. However, they are not up to date and many launches are not listed.
It's going to be close to a LOC Ultimate Max :) The Max has 7 38mm mounts.

I have some vacation that I need to use by mid June. I'm considering taking a weekend off and attending a launch. I'm willing to travel up to 1000 miles (each way). This covers most of the eastern...
The slotted motors use a dipped match. No pellet. Best is to insert the igniter, bend it over the top of the grain and tape in place. Then assemble the motor.
Maybe not rocket people but there are a LOT of people who reload their ammunition. They would all have to get permits. I don't think the NRA will hold still to be screwed.
CJ and I were talking about 98mm Space Cowboys today  Needs to hold a 98-6GXL
Aerotech? Use a H242T. With CTI 38-2G motors, I'd use the H225 White Thunder. The H123 would work in good conditions but all the motors this size will be a low flight and the higher thrust motors...
On Mythbusters today they revisited the original JATO car. This time they used a LOT more power. It looks like 5 6" P motors. Does anyone know what motors were used? BTW, the car DID fly, just not...
Guess I should include my latest Deuce - 98mm!127779

Higher and Higher - Moody Blues. Most of the album "To Our Children's Children's Children" is space themed.
Much of Klaatu's music is space or SF themed.
Then there are the groups - Love and...
I have an XP desktop purchased in 2005. Still works well. My laptop is Win 7 Pro. The pro version allows XP compatibility mode and I haven't had any problems yet. I'll eventually replace the desktop...
Sorry I'll miss it :(
I have 6 operational altimeters and about 10 rockets with dual deploy. All the altimeters are interchangeable with any of the rockets.
Other than read this thread, nothing :p
I've clustered quite a few CTI motors, from 24 to 54 mm. If the supplied igniter is a bare e-match, the motor has a pellet and will ignite instantly as long as the e-match is in contact with the...
This design is somewhat like the Lost in Space saucer. The pictures are the 98mm version. Dimensions on the plan are in terms of the motor tube OD.

I have CFL's in most of the fixtures in the house. I have had very good life in the bathroom, even with constant on-off cycles. However, the bulbs are completely enclosed in glass balls. The only...
As long as it's a M2200SK:wink:
