My moms a doctor and I still don't get the shot, I've never had the flu.
Awesome the guy who made that video put alot of work into it.
I also wonder what zipperless is, I haven't experienced a zipper yet somehow and I don't want to.
I got my parachutes today.... and I have no idea what rocket to use, I'm looking for a big and bulky rocket that will work well with 24" parachutes, Keep in mind I can only use up to D size motors.
I bought one and it was broken on arrival, when I took video/pictures they were a solid green color.
What beacon are you using?
Mylar from wildman, Plastic and nylon from estes.
Bought the chutes, and I went with 24" chutes instead of 12"
Yeah I still got those F39's as soon as I get my Mighty D launch controller fixed and its a calm day I will let her rip.
I didn't say so, but I'm repeating it 3 times because for some reason the judges like 3 times, 2 isn't enough for them I guess? They will all be circular and exactly 12" I just need to find a site...
So for science fair this year I am testing which material used in the parachute will make the rocket descend the slowest. I will be using the Jolly Logic Altemiter 2 for my project because it shows...
I never posted again about the keychain camera flight but..... A D-12-7 plus a keychain camera plus a standard estes launch pad is a horrible idea, I don't know how I thought this would work but it...

Welcome from the SouthEast!
I dunno if anyone has responded to this yet, but they aren't very loud at all, maybe as loud as a cell phone going off, I only use them for finding small rockets that land in tall grass.
Well I was looking at pictures Green Jellow uploaded from XPRS 2012 and this looks awfully purple to me, perfect lighting conditions?
Photo isn't working I'll just send the link...
PM sent
So I was looking around the estes website and found a category ARF Almost ready to fly. Apparently you just have to snap on the fins.
I didn't find any threads on this so I thought I'd post one,...
At the rocket launch I went to a few days ago I saw a minimum diameter rocket go up on a K780 and I just wondered does anyone have the footage? (they had onboard cameras).
I'm launching with the last D-12-7 today if the weather is ok gotta use it somehow , I will attach my keychain camera.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6n-ibwMqLI&feature=youtu.beAnthony and his crew, engineers from UCF launched a minimum diameter carbon fiber rocket to 10,000ft on a K780.
I was looking at the transolve but, I've never made an av bay.
-Damage from 2nd flight-
Mud (luckily it was only in its first coating of primer and the mud isnt that bad anyways)

I might post the 2nd flight but im going to focus on other videos first.
Rocket Status: Under Repairs from the 2nd flight...
It's 24mm :eyepop: ....are you going to use the reccomended motors or something else?
I'm loving the rocket, I'll just use the F39-9T's next time for sure, and attach a long streamer like on the first launch.
Sorry guys but I wussed out, I had a bad feeling about losing the rocket so I flew it twice with a D-12-7 instead, first flight perfect, second flight terrible weathercocking and parachute deployed...
I have the iPad and I love it even though its the iPad 1, of course It was won in a drawing and was free to me.
