Many people like Berlin. I always enjoy the city.
As far as I know, shipping engines within the UK is a problem at the moment due to certification issues. I do not know if they can ship to foreign adresses. In general, it should be possible within...
There are some vendors in Europe selling Estes, AT and so on. In most cases, this may be cheaper than ordering from the US specially if you have no APO adress and have to pay taxes and shipping. For...
Astroimgur, I have collected a few information on the legal situation of rocketry in Europe on my website at http://www.europerocketry.com/index.php?id=regulations (as far as people have submitted...
If you have not found a source already (you never responded), you may try it here: http://www.modelrockets.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=28_123_134
I agree, itīs "standard size" if you compare it with other manufacturers such as AeroTech (the Mantis comes with a 1/4" rod as well). For Estes, they only sold 1/8" & 3/16" (3 and 5 mm) rods so far....
I see, 1/4" should be 6.35 mm. So itīs a little bigger than the standard 5 mm rod Estes offers for larger rockets.
Do the Pro Series models use 5 mm launch lugs?

Funny, best April joke for today!
Oliver
Kevin, you have mail!
I think itīs worth the effort. I just read that Froyo still has a market share of 25%.
Oliver
I use Android 2.2 (Froyo). Is there a chance to make it compatible with this version since the phone is not too old (I bought it just a year ago)?
Greetings,
Oliver
Thanks for adding an Android version!
Unfortunatly, I get a "parsing error" message each time I try to install the .apk file. And yes, I have checked "unknown sources".
Any help is...
Most of this Eastern European "companies" are basically one-man shows. There was a company in Slovakia (Dubnica) but they no longer produce engines as far as I know.
Oliver
Thanks for the information! I guess we will see them not so soon here in Europe (if ever) so any experience is appreciated!
Oliver
Ok, itīs at least good to know that Iīm not the only one
For larger sites, Typo3 is a good choice if the webmaster is experienced. Having less experience, Joomla may be a good decision as well.
But BTW, does NAR actually has a webmaster? I tried to mail...
Since the new catalog features the Pro Series II kits and engines - are they already available at vendors in the States?
Oliver
Iīm confused :) So Model Rocket Shop is the successor of Deepsky?
Oliver
How about Barry Tunick?
Unfortunatly, the author use massive questionable forum spamming to promote his book. In our German Modellraketen Forum, he used fake accounts and if we asked him to explain, he refused to respond....
@Zonie, possible you mean "Held 1000"? This engine is not from Klima, it is manufactured by Weco Germany.
@JPVegh, according to Robert Klima, the pricing for his new engines should be less than...
Quest is in contact with Klima (Bill was in Germany last year) so all specifications are coordinated with them. The new Klima engines may be clustered or staged like black power engines (but they are...
Hopefully. I guess it depends on what will be available without licence after 2013 after the EU re-regulated it.
For the German and European market, yes (under the Klima, not the Quest label). In the US, it will be different. However, you may ignite them (different to currently available composites from other...
Just a small update, Weco produced a last batch last year but I guess thatīs it. They will be replaced by the new engines from Robert Klima which are currently under development (see my website for...
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to see prototypes of this upcomming motors at the International Toy Fair at Nuremberg, Germany (see my website for a report). They will be made by Robert Klima in...
Gillard, I talked to Andrew from Logic RC yesterday at the International Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany. Andrew (as well as the guys at the Estes/Hobbico booth) confirmed that Logic now is the...
Regarding SpaceCAD, let me mention that this software was initially developed by Andreas Firnau and me, distributed by my former company FlyTech, way back in 1990 under the previous name "SpaceCalc+"...
Does it mean you can produce and launch rocketry engines using nitrocellulose without any licence in Germany?
Greetings,
Oliver
I noticed you already ordered one. But in general, there are some European distributors out there selling US brands. So you may not order in the US in any case.
Greetings,
Oliver
