In Sydney!

I inadvertently started this whole thing when I found a duck decoy near the river running a couple miles South of the Thunderstruck launch site. That was during my long trek to recover my...

For those of you who don't know GRIFFIN: He is an EXCELLENT rocket builder.
Have no concerns about how these rockets were put together.
Outstanding build.

Ahh man, you beat me to it!
Bravo!
We don't see enough of these. Subscribed !
So true. Lots of wisdom in that sentence.
Of course we do....
Why would you want to do that?
L1 is for H and I motors. Go with the I540 or the I800 :w:
The longer the motor, the better.
I flew a Big Daddy on a K185 many years ago. Motor ejection, just enough room for shock cord, small chute and a small tracker. Simmed at 8,000 feet. Did not...

I did L2 so I could fly the long burn motors. Back then it was pretty much only Aerotech and I wanted to fly a K185.
2 years later I decided to do my L3. I did it for the challenge; most of the...

I know. I'm a whiner. This looks like a very promising sale.
Sorry to hear this Manny.
This one hits close to home as I flew a similar rocket at Airfest.... and lost it :sigh:
Slightly different outcome, but the same sinking feeling. In the end, like...
Where's the maple syrup?
Thank you cwbullet for your service.

I'm going to say White Thunder as well. That is a big honking flame and it looks like the nozzle throat is pretty wide. :headbang:
speculation: N7000 WT
Looks like your fins have no material selected and negligible mass. I changed the fins material and mass, and the rocket flew OK.
Ah! Same here (without the "mega" part). I glued one N-3301 and one M-3700.
They are happily drying together.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOX !!!
The AP has arived.:D

I live in the Southwest suburbs area. I fly in Princeton with QCRS (1 1/2 hour drive from my place) and in Indiana with Indiana Rocketry. Their launch site in near Lafayette (about 2 1/4 hour drive...
I am sure that can be arranged.
OK, so I posted a question about the magnetic field in another thread and was told the motor burn should not create a magnetic field and therefore should not impact the functionality of the magnetic...
Thank you for the clarification. I had never heard about a magnetic field around the motor during burn, but I wanted to have a second ( and third) opinion. :)
