Jeff goes through a summary of his layup in post #220
Did the cutter fire and cut the tie? I would suggest longer burritos or be sure to REALLY tighten down the tie. Sounds like it was a pretty harsh deployment...
Thank you Gerald. Boxed and shipped! Best of luck on your flight!

That and the next few posts have some thoughts on that.
Yep, you can use 0.1mL of the black powder.
The design was made for ematches but since a surprising (to me) amount of people are using the Q2G2's, I cut a smaller hole in the cap for them. I...
Sounds like it will work perfect! much easier than my ghetto test setup lol. Your cutters are in the box and on their way :) Thank you.
They can be loud. I would compare them to a .22 or so. I have tested them inside a container placed in a 5gal bucket of water before and that muffled the sound pretty well, but it was a pain to rig...
With the article theme, my brain couldnt help but read that as witty t*tties
Sold pending funds
Yes it is included. The only thing that is not included is the 54mm motor mount tube. I can include the decal as well but I found it and it has been attacked by our pet rabbit, so it will have some...
It is missing the motor mount tube. I used it in a different rocket because I had planned to make this MD.
It was nothing personal against you or anyone else Griffin. No problems.
Just to clarify why I understood $200 as a good price:
Large body tube: $99 (missing 3 inches and has slots, so lets assume $89)
Small body tube: $49 (missing two inches, so lets say $45)...
Alright fellas. If you don't like the price you don't have to buy it. I got the kit for about 150$. I got the second run and had to get wildman club, so im not making a lot. Im not out to rip anyone...

The threads still engage probably 99% of the way, even with the Kevlar between the body and cap, which prevent (almost) all of the gas from escaping. The larger issue with the cap is sealing it after...
CarVac is using one in his 38mm Disappearing Act
This is a good question. In all of my tests and firings, I have never once had that happen, but its not to say that it is impossible. If you follow the instructions, by sliding a few of the small...
How long did you let it in the vinegar? Ive cleaned my cases dozens of times with vinegar and never had anything like that occur.
Finished up about 50 of them tonight. Still need to make the pistons and screw caps, but I marked them as back in stock on the site. I can start shipping tomorrow morning.
Thanks all!
I have a class with Emrich (in the first photo at the NASA site). Interesting guy and the info is intriguing. NASA Marshall is currently replacing some of their testing systems to allow for much more...
I replied with an email.
The only changes to the smaller nozzles (#24 - #28) are a shallower entrance cone and the extended lip has been removed. Throat size remains the same.
I use an exacto knife for casting tubes and a razor saw for liner tubes.
