I like Jim's solution!!
The little Swift works well with a micromaxx engine. You can actually find it after the flight!! A micromaxx engine adapter and nose blow recovery is all that's needed.
What you're seeing, Zeus-cat, is why I buy all of my micro stuff from Fliskits. A fantastic on-line store to deal with. Jim is very involved in the hobby and just a great guy. Are you moving to...
I was a little disappointed that more Micromaxx products were not available. Like maybe some launch sets or launch pad and controller. Oh, Well!
I don't understand why Quest would sell rockets that are so poorly built. I had the some problem or other problems with the micro rocs I had purchased. I would think this would discourage a lot of...
Jim must have sent everything on the same day, I got my order as well. If this is your first order from Fliskits you will be amazed at the quality of the items he sells. I buy 90% of my stuff from...
You know---Rocket flying is a great family activity. I was pleased to hear that your wife was interested as well. I am 64 yrs old and my wife and I go out to local parks to fly and really enjoy it....
I haven't had much luck in finding this rocket after a launch. I always loose it. Then I decided to use a micromaxx engine instead; and WOW. This allows me to see the rocket through apogee and it...
I live in Ill. and have a Hobby Lobby about 7 miles from where I live. A, B, and C motors sell for 7.99. After the 40% off coupon I get them for a little over 5 bucks with tax. Great deal!!
John, where in the world do you put everything in 800 sq ft?? That's about what I have in the apartment my wife and I live in. My wife has her craft room and I have my rocket closet (shared with my...
That would be a deal. I wish Quest would cut the cost of shipping, though. I think I paid about 12 dollars for the set last time ===UGH
My first Micromaxx rockets came with the set from Quest for $62. This was a number of months ago. You are correct, there were 25 rocket motors included. I recently purchased 30 rocket engines from...
I sent my e-mail off already.
Interesting. My local hobby shop charges 8.99 for the same engines. No wonder I don't buy anything from him.
I agree with Rocket Man. There is a point where I simply can't afford to patronize a LHS that chargers full retail. My local shop has other issues as well: very disorganzied and messy( it takes the...
I am in the process of building a Star Trooper with a Micromaxx engine mount. From what I can tell it should fly well, just not very high.
I built the Lucky Seven over the weekend and flew it today. As was mentioned by others, I too had to open up the lunch lugs before I could fly it. Other then that it flew quite well. On the first...
If I put Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries in the Estes Controller will they produce enough current to set off the Estes igniters? I have a set of these batteries and would like to use them.
Thanks for that info. I'm thinking the A3-4T will send it flying to just the right height for my purposes and interests.
Finally got a chance to fly my High-Flyer with 13mm engines instead of the called for 18mm. I loved it!! I used a 1/2A3-2T because I couldn't find any 1/2A3-4T in my range box. It looks like an...
The one face looks like he's constipated :) O'K maybe not.
Thanks, Greg, this will give me something to work with. I will probably start with the 1/2A3-4t.

I'm in the process of building a High Flier. I put in a 13mm engine mount instead of 18mm( I like to fly rockets I can follow through apogee). I have a little concern about the size of the mini...
Jim, I love dealing with your company. Keep up the good work and congrats. You have a loyal customer here.
Larry in Woodstock, Il.
I placed an order over the weekend. Take your time, not problems here. Hope you get up and running soon.
Larry
Good to hear from you. Just happened to fly a couple of your kits this morning; the doo Hickey and the Mudwasp. My wife just loves to watch the Mudwasp and I do too. A couple of great small field...
I have ordered form Fliskits on a number of occasions and have had nothing but good customer service and great products. What a great company to deal with!!!
Just got my Buck Shot in the mail today, looking forward to the build. Not next on my list though.
I like the nice clean looks of this rocket. I may have to build one of these for myself. Nice job.
Good idea to retire it. I don't think I have ever flown any of the small rockets more than 3 times before they are gone.(except on Micromaxx engines)
