I've looked high and I've looked low, but it appears that no one has bothered to clone this particular kit (with the exception of one company offering an upscaled version).

Does anybody make this thing? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I have made the parts for it.

I just checked and i have a set finished ready to ship.

The odd balsa ram jet balsa nose cones the nose cone and transition.

PM me.

Clones of the Mars Snooper II are harder to find than the original Snooper.

QModeling makes a 1.68x upscale of the Mars Snooper II for $74.95. I'm guessing that's who you were referring to in your original post.

As already noted, Hawk's Hobby makes an upscale of the original Mars Snooper for $ 67.99.

There are two 1x size clones of the original Mars Snooper available:
Thrustline TACL-024 $31.50 (decals available separately)
PD Rocketry PD-20 $36.95

Looks like Sandman has the cloned "kit" right there. Looks like a decal sheet there too! Price... TBD!;) You offering just the balsa parts, or everything in that pic?

LOL, no just the balsa parts.

I already built that one!

DRitchie is asking about the Mars Snooper II, not the original Mars Snooper. And he is aware of the upscales, but wants the original sized one. I personally think the Snooper II is better looking than the original. I would love to build another one.

Doesn't BMS sell the original design Mars Snooper (not the Mars
Snooper II)? I recall seeing it in their catalog; says it has all the
parts - all you have to do is download and print out the instructions from the web (Jim Z, I suppose)...

Don't know why you'd want a snooper-II instead of an original mars snooper anyway the II just looks kinda awkward to me.
Cloning, up or and downscaling it isn't that hard...tho a lot of nosecones;)

Not sure if the last psot was directed at me or not, but I'll answer.

When I got into rocketry, and by the time I had worked my way up to a Level 4 (yeah, I know the Skill Levels don't mean that much, but when you're a kid, it's like a rite of passage to go from one to the next), the original SNooper had been phased out and the Snooper II was in. I'm just wanting another one to relive my youth.

I agree that the original Mars Snooper is the prettier of the two....

LOL...The better 2/3rds couldn't agree with you more Roy.... ROTFL!!!
My head says I'm still 18......it's the rest of me the protests so loudly;)

It is not that hard to make a clone of this rocket yourself. Just like the Mars Snooper, the parts can be ordered from different online Dealers. The Plans of course from JimZ, The parts from BMS, except for the 3 BNC-5BA nose cones that can be purchased from sandman or Semroc. The decals can be bought from Tanga Papa. There are other dealers, put it can be cloned!
