Biography:

Started flying rockets in '69 or so after finding an Estes catalog at the local hobby shop. (remember those?) Thanks to a generous grandmother, I flew many of the Estes and Centuri models of the time. I had many beautiful flights and my fair share of prangs. I continued building and flying until after college when finding a real job became the order of business. I've built a number of rockets since then, but haven't flown anything in a dozen years. Gonna change that soon! Unfortunately there are entirely too many home improvement shows on TV and my wife thinks that renovating our house takes priority...
