General rules and guidelines of TRF that all members are expected to adhere to.

An area where general discussions can take place, that don't necessarily fit well into other categories. This can relate to rocketry, general chat, or any other topic not prohibited by TRF rules and guidelines.

An area for those new to model rocketry to exchange ideas or ask questions. Also the place to discuss model rocketry Educational programs, etc.

Rockets using motors 1/8A through D impulse.

Rockets using motors from E through G impulse.

Rockets using motors from H impulse upwards.

Discussions of motors ranging from single-use black powder motors, composite reloads, hybrids, etc.

An area to ask questions or discuss electronics and computer software issues related to rocketry. Eg: Rocksim, SpaceCAD, Onboard Video, Altimeters.

Area to discuss anything related to ground control, recovery equipment, or software. This can include launch controllers or pads, chutes or streamers, ejection charges, dual deployment, etc.

Share your modeling techniques with other builders.

For the modeler that enjoys building from the ground up.

This section is primarily for the plans for your scratchbuilt models. Optimally, we'd like to see the "plans" and/or associated (Rocksim, Spacecad, etc.) file first, then any discussion to follow.

Brief personal and general opinions of off-the-shelf kits from manufacturers. In addition, members are encouraged to go over to EMRR and post a formal review.

For discussions about all types of rocket boosted gliders. Parasite gliders, boost gliders, rocket gliders, flex-wing gliders, lifting bodies and R/C variants. Also the place for helicopter recovery.

The place to talk about scale. Scale builds, scale data, useful photos. It all goes here.

What on earth is a Goony??

Talk about competition rocketry here. Anything from informal club competitions to FAI internationals.

Vendor announcements and personal feedback on their products, support, and customer relations. Please remember to show vendors the respect they deserve.

If you have a personal rocketry-related item for sale, this is where you list it. These are for one time sales items. If you have similar items for sale on a somewhat regular basis, please list them under the "Vendor" forum.

Discussion area for National (or International!) events.

Discussion of events in your area. Personal launch reports are welcome, too.

An area for people to host rocket contests, also the home of TRF's Secret Santa exchange.

This is where constructive criticism is sought and appreciated. Keep in mind that not every suggestion can be implemented though.
