Not related to rockets.

I need to be able to check a cumulative run time of a motor over a 7 day period.

The solution needs to be inexpensive and possibly disposable ( i might not get it back).

i need to check run time on a 110-220V A/C circuit.

i have found this unit but it is for a small engine, being inductive would it work?

If you are saying you have 120-220v motor circuit.
Kill-a-watt makes a device that will time and record watts of any device plugged into it.
So if you have a motor running 15 minutes an hour for 24 hours it will display the total run time
= 6hrs and it will also display the total watts used during that period.
hope this helps.

this is a pool pump motor, hard wired, not plug in application.

Back to post#1 would an induction interface work. does it just sense power or is it voltage specific?

it might work, but you will need to put the current clamp around one of the hot wires, not the conduit.

I doubt it. Here's the instruction sheet for something similar. It looks like it's picking up the pulse going to the spark plug. I'm sure someone makes one for line voltage but I doubt it would be less than $20. If you don't mind running a wire, there are several on eBay like this one.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HOBBS-...986?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item338468c9b2 This will work for you. Buy now price is $11. Don't think you'll get one cheaper than that.
