TRAR launch, Reno NV

This is just a notice to let anyone interested know that there will be a high powered rocket launch on the 4th of July from 8AM to 2PM about 15 minutes north of Reno in a dry lake bed. details in flier. Yeah, my Wildman Jr. is ready to go. I just needed an organized launch. The plan was to do it at LDRS.

I wish I could have attended... How did the inaugural launch go?

It was actually far better than expected. We had about 25 people show up flying everything from LPR to a J. Bay Area Rocketry came up with their truck of goodies. The weather was hot but perfect with no wind at all.About the only downside was the loss of my Leviathan. It will be so nice to have a site to fly HPR just 10 minutes from home.

Any idea on when the next TRA Reno launch will be? Wish I could have attended July 4th. Combination of holiday, weekday and family committments made it tough.

I'm sure exactly, but I know Justice wanted to have another one soon that doesn't overlap the big Black Rock launches like LDRS, BALLS and XPRS.

I really didn't get any other than the stuff from my destroyed Leviathan thread. Justice, the guy who ran that launch, doesn't really use the forums so I'm not sure if he did. I should have put my wife in charge of that. Oh well.
