I'm not sure how, but I've managed to lose the delay o-ring for my last 29/40-120 reload. (Well, not my LAST last, just the last one I have on hand.)

I figured it would be a simple matter to buy a replacement, since the dimensions are listed on the assembly instructions. I figured I'd throw some o-rings into a McMaster Carr order, but I'm realizing now that I have no idea what material the o-rings are supposed to be. Can anyone point me in the right direction material-wise?

a little more research, and I think i may have answered my own question (Buna-N)

as confirmed by CarVac. Thanks!

They look reusable enough to get another reload and recycle one from that.

In the past year I've had two motor reload kits that were missing an o-ring. I was able to carefully remove a used one, clean it up, and give it a coating of SuperLube and refly it without problem. If it looks damaged in any way I wouldn't try it, though. But if it looks pristine, it should be ok.

A delay o-ring in a 29 mm reload kit is worth $0.10. You rocket is worth several hundred times more. It's not a good idea to risk a rocket by reusing a $0.10 o-ring as the parts included in a reload kit are meant to be single use unless the directions say otherwise.

This.

I have no problem buying replacement o-rings, I just wanted to make sure I was getting the correct material. :)
