I think all the plastic one's are ogive. I have a 3" plastic ogive if you need one.

If it is the one I sold you remember that it has a laminate layer of Kevlar and a veil layer of fiberglass so tougher than your normal conical NC.

I've seen all the links to new nose cones. I normally will make a plug and pull a mold from them. I have all the stuff to do another 3" mold...I just don't have the time..right now...to do..this one.

I'm building a 3" up scale KestreL.

Hey Tony,

I may be able to help! I have two possible candidates: one came from the distinct Tfish shop itself! Two quick questions:

1. Does it matter if it has a length of all-thread glued down the center (used to center av-sled and secure bulkplate in aft end)?
2. Does it have to be RF transparent? Both of the candidates have convolute carbon fiber involved.

Ah, but I have another. It's one of Performance Rocketry's first Von Karman offerings....Profusion style. Turned filled epoxy outside, convolute glass on the inside. I added an additional 2 layers of 5.7 oz plain weave carbon to the ID to stiffen it up. Come to think of it; I'm considering replacing my Proline filament wound black f/g cone with the cast filled epoxy tip used on one flight with a metal tipped version.
