So I started on my black star voyager... directions seem simple enough... so far it hasn't been much of challenge...

Parts inventory (there is a lot of parts)

MMT and center tube (Dont mind the tape... its just there to help with the seam where the upper center tube meets the MMT)

Lower part of the body assembled... made a bit of a mess with glue but have gotten it cleaned up

All Right! Some one else is building one. One thing to remember, when attaching the main fins, be sure to leave enough room between the bottom of the upper main fin contact point and the top of the upper internal fin section for the decal.

This is incorrect:

They are actually 3/8" lower than the design, this may very well be the cause of the flight instability on this one, I don't know if 3/8" is enough but I guess it could be.

Are you saying your fins are too far back? That would increase stability not decrease it. I may be misunderstanding what you are saying.

Yes, they are 3/8" low, the decal should go completely around the BT just above the large internal fin section. As far as causing the instbility I'm just guessing. If this should make it more stable than I would guess going to an E-12 and more nose weight. I think I'm going to do a string balance just to see what exactly is going on.

Thanks for the heads up... ill make a note in the instructions for when i get to it...

did a little bit of work on it last night... dry fitted the transition and upper tube and got the lower part of the fins glued together
