DARWEN, Lancashire UK — Students and teachers were left in awe of £500,000 rocket when it landed at their high school. Darwen Vale High School was one of the first 100 schools in the country which will have all 700 kilos of the one-man Nova Starchaser at its grounds for the day. Year seven and eight pupils took a break from lessons to quiz the rocket's maker Steve Bennett. They also took part in space based workshops in Cosmic Chemistry and Propulsion to celebrate its arrival.
