Does anyone know the max. liftoffweight of an RATT-H70 hybrid?
Following the 1:5 formula it´s about 1,4 kg.
Is that correct? Had anyone flown this motor?

The RATT H70 is a great motor for 1.5" rockets and 2" rockets. I love to fly it in a LOC Legacy, gets about 2800 feet. See my Legacy page at https://daveysplace.netfirms.com/Projects/Level1/legacy.htm. As for the liftoff weight... 1,4 kilos seems about right, I think. The Legacy really gets moving on the H and it's about 0,4 kilos. Worth a shot, at least. Use a magnetic apogee detector -- that way, worst case, you'll get the rocket back, and you can fly an H180W next time :)

Good luck. The RATT motors are great!

Sounds about right. I've been stretching a Loc Forte to use as my Ratt Works H-70 test bed. Estimated weight including motor and fuel is about 3.5 lbs. The divide by 5 rule indicates about 3.2 lbs ( 1.44 Kg ). Should be OK. May use a 6' rail to increase the velocity ( off rail ) a bit.
