Hi,

Does anyone here have any experience with the Easyglas sock from Giant Leap? I would like to use the Kevlar sock, but I need 24 feet. At $3.49/ft, it's pretty expensive. I'm doing my level 3. The rocket is never going to go anywhere close to trans or supersonic. I'm using the 7.5 inch quiktube. Big, heavy and slow.

Man you are quick...how long has it been since your L2...a week...thats awsome
I was looking at the socks the other day and they looked like a good idea an easy way to reinforce tubes

so, is the rocket going to be 24 feet long?

The rocket will be about 12 feet long. They say you need twice the length of the airframe. I am pretty quick. This is the last summer I will be able to do rockets for a while. I am going into the Navy in February.

Well, I haven't used the easyglass sock, but I did use the Kevlar sock, and have gotten great results, I am sure you will have great results as well if you use the glass sock. Hope your project goes well!
