I started out with the Initiator kit that came with the launch pad and everything to get you started. I recommend the reloadable kit. I screwed up the kit on the first launch, but the launch pad worked really well, until I was ready to upgrade to a larger launch pad that could take upto 1/2 rods. By the way the mirage is a really nice kit and fun to fly. For a beginner Aerotech is the way to go. There easy to put together they hold up to alot of abuse, and most importantly they fly really high. :) . After you get ready for a little more challenge look into PML they have some nice kits that are a little more complex. I would recommend keeping a few extra copperheads ignitors available, just in case they dont fire. Good luck and have fun. You will be hooked dont worry about that.

Thanks for the info Justin. I am just trying to save some money, and then I will be getting my RMS initiator kit!
