I'm scoping out my next project, and I've come up with 3 concepts/ designs. They're just sketches, but I might consider plotting the chosen design on Rocsim... of course, then i'll have to buy it I guess.
Anyhow, I have 3 designs I'm posting here, and I just want to see which one you guys like best. Thanks for your input!
THIS IS CONCEPT #1
The first image shows the fins "retracted". When the rocket is on the rail and the launch button is pushed, a cable snaps and releases the fins. The fins trigger the igniter, and the rocket launches.

This rocket is an "open-body" design; It has no nose cone, and it is open through the entire airframe

Concept #3
This is nothing special, except that when you snap a photo while it's taking off, you will see the faces in both the nose cone and the fins.

I'm under the impression that you already tried out the Concept #2 bird.
Weren't there pictures of it posted here?

You're referring to "see-thru-p-o"..... That was a small inside diameter that was grossly underpowered by 3 AT-10 motors. This time I plan to do it right, with plenty of "umpffff"

If it was me building, I'd go for number two. I tend to like cleaner and more spare designs, but that's just me. This one looks pretty cool.
But number one is MUCH more along the lines of what I view as your aesthetic. That one is way more "you" (to me). I'd love to see what you do with it.
So, my vote is definately for Number ONE.
Please post build thread/pics.

Why build one, when you can build all 3?
