Just a basic 2 part mold,
had access to a lathe so i just made a solid aluminum plug and made the mold using that.. the rest is pretty much trial and error to see what works and what doesn't. I believe tfish started a thread some time ago on how to make them :wink:

OMG!!!! How beautiful! To a rocketeer- that's the equivalent of a Playboy Centerfold. Miss June, July AND August,specifically. Just absolutely sterling! Well done! Now I really want one too! Why? 'cuz it's that sexy!!!

as of the moment I'm working on making another plug/mold... however eventually - yes. but in 4HS or 2x2 twill cause i have no more 1K plain stuff and its 70 bucks a yard so i don't see myself ordering it in near future. There will also be a few cones with aluminum tips in Von Karman that i'll be putting up in a week or so
