Well, here I go again scratch building!
With a lot of help from my friend Bobby, we came up with this:

That's 2x?! That looks a bit more like 12x lol. Now, you just can't post something like that and not give some details like, MMT? Weight? Height? DDeploy? Flight pics? Build pics?

It is a 2x as the the original has a main tube of 3" .
In the works is a 3x or 4x upscale also. (around 11.5" dia.)
This Estes kit is a big one to begin with so, when upscaling it gets huge!

This particular bird is currently only single motor(54mm) with option of motor deploy or DD w/ a Tether system.
Bobby is working on details to make it a cluster bird while retaining strength in the fins.
The fins are TTW w/ interlocking pins inside tube(no glue needed)
The "outboard tubes" are 38mm coupler tubes and are squeezed in between two centering rings(no glue )
