Hello! Welcome to The Rocketry Forum! We are very pleased to have you aboard! You are among friends here.
I would like to hear more about your current and upcoming rocketry events. How long have you been launching model rockets? What types to you launch? Is there an established community of rocketry enthusiasts in Libya? We would all very much like to get to know you and exchange knowledge and experiences. We are looking forward to discussing this wonderful obsession with you.

thank you for your kind words .
I have seen your biography, you have great rocket history.
Answering your questions.
During the war against Kaddafi an idea came to me to build rockets and fight for freedom and peace.
First I made candy rocket with 3 inc. water pipe by 120 cm long, they fly up to 10 km some times, also I used 3 inc. aluminum pipe with Russian solid fuel , they fly up to 1200 meters.
The war is over and we are free.
Now I like it as a hobby and fun, to keep on this hobby, I started a rocket association began with my family .
I am authorized to make clubs, association , rocket competitions and rocket record altitude for world rocketry on our land.
We have beautiful weather, big desert, nice beaches, great tourist places and kind people .
Sure we will learn more things from you. I will be happy to meet you there

Rockets have always been used most often as a weapon of war. Now that your nation is at peace, it is great that rockets will be used for science and education.

I think this is pretty cool. And I hope your spirit of healing is present all over Libya. Kaddafi is gone - time to celebrate life & peace.
One small thing: you will find that a lot of us in the hobby have an aversion to the word "shooting" when it comes to rockets. One "shoots" missiles. Rockets are "launched".
So, clear & windless (and peaceful) skies to you - have fun launching your rockets. Keep in touch with us here on TRF.

I can imagine that Libya is a fantastic place to launch rockets. I also think that it would be great to have a Tripoli prefecture there. Best wishes!
