picked up a deuce, and dimunitive deuce from fliskits at naram this year. good ole Gordo was set up a few spots down so i got the smokin deuce conversion for the full scale. to keep them twins a few weeks ago i had him make me a conversion for my mmx deuce, decals and cone.
Pretty freakin awesome the nosecone is HUGE i cant wait to get this one in the air. The decals are perfect as well.. Here's a pic of it so far, not much done yet but itll get there sometime this week.

That a BT-5 Dimunitive Deuce right?
Hope your not disappointed with the flight performance at that size. The D-Deuce is an OK flyer as a kit, I'm not sure how much extra mass the Smoke NC adds but I'd strongly suggest keeping it as light as you possibly can. prehaps hollowing out a good but to Match as nearly as you can the Kit standard NC weight.
Will be watching to see how this one come out:)
As clustered Nike Smoke...KEWL Idea.
If you want a really good flying smoke build a T3 scale. OUT of Sight on a single MMX-II:)

I dont have scales to weigh it out but without the fins and finish it feels lighter than my just past due, but thats just doing ye' olde hand scale lol :D. I really dont expect crazy performance out of it as long as i get a straight up flight and an ejection ill be happy. It will look good sitting beside its big brother as well. Fins are going on in a few minutes pics will be up later this evening.

I hear Ya LOL!
don't have a gram scale...man! EVERYONE working with micros should have a gram scale.
I've found a GREAT little almost pocket size 500g .1g resolution scale at Harbor Freight for a very resonable price. I just saw them for about 13.00 bucks. Run on a couple AA batteries and are as accurate as my Palm scale 200g scale that I paid bigger bucks for.
Last year when I purchased them they were only 9.99each so I picked up 4 so I have one just about everywhere I might need one LOL! A fine little scale particularly for Micro work and great for weight those competition motors;)
D-Deuce does get prehaps 25-35ft on a good day before popping the streamer. That's why I suggested hollowing out the LONG smoke nosecone. Those canted motors look good but really waste a good bit of the limited thrust we have to work with.

your smokes look great. Do you make your nosecones? the launcher is a nice touch as well.
I really do need to go pick up a scale, eventually ill get around to it. I just have so much to buy for my current queue of hpr i cant justify it at this point (fg, rail guides, retainers, electronics, motors, etc etc).

Thanks they were a fun Flight/size experiment: The launcher was scaled from photos of the one out front at Wallops Island.
Yes I generally turn all my own basswood custom Nosecones and other parts for Scale models regardless of size.
Lately I've been using a good number of Balsa Micro cones from Fliskits parts line...Every single one has been supreme quality.
