Working on two Micro Powered "Hardware" Odd-Rocs over the weekend.
Couldn't decide if I wanted to create a Machine Screw (Cap Screw),Nut & Fender Washer Odd-roc or an All Threaded Stud, Hex Nuts & Fender Washer combination?

Materials and methods sometimes get in the way on little projects like this. Nor was I completely certain I could pull this off in 3/8-16" size? Options was to go down to 1/4-20"? As it turns out 3/8" was pretty good. We're still debating one piece, if the Washer plate, Drag fin will be Polycarbonate or papered Basswood but things are proceeding right along.

I've already started a sort of build thread in the Odd-Roc forum so I won't repeat it all there. Just wanted to get some impressions from the rest of you maxxer's:)

This begs the question, "WHY"?

Which of course prompts the answer, "Why not".

LOL, To cool for school John.

Got a good bit more done on both the Machine Screw and Stud Odd-rocs.

Also ran across a "new to me" Testors product. Diamond Dust a metallic silver product in Lacquer. Seemed to work really well for this two model project. We'll have to try it on a couple more models to see if it reacts well with other Paints and primers;)

Thanks Bob;
Got the Stud in the air over the weekend but need to do just a little tweeking to get it to come off the rod better. I wasn't watching the which rod I used. unfortunately the model tugged or tried to hang up on the rod after passing the first lug hole:( Did a little Ziggy side ways losing all forward motion...Deee RATS! Looked good for a moment LOL!! I'll find a way to correct it soon I hope.
