Well, looks like we need to have a run off to see who walks away with this months booty! Since the 'poll' option is limited to 7 entries and we had 9 the voting was split into 2 polls..I think it only fair that the top placed entries in each poll square off..Unless and until I hear from Layne and he decides to award 2 grand prizes we will go with it! ;)

So here for your consideration are the 2 top choices from the two polls:

JAL3's USS Atlantis (http://www.rocketryforum.com/showpost.php?p=16275&postcount=18)

Gillard's Twin Jet TR5 Fighter (http://www.rocketryforum.com/showpost.php?p=15101&postcount=12)

Please vote, this is for a limited time only!

ATTA BOY!!!!!!! Throw in a caveat for a required build thread. More free advertising. $$$$$$$$

Absolutely!

As Captain Jean Luc Picard would say: "Make it so!" So it is!

Congratulations go out to John(JAL3) and Gillard!! Those are a couple of mighty fine looking rockets!

And as El Cheapo says: A build thread is not only expected but reqiured! Well, not really reqiured, but we would all REALLY like to see them built..;)

Just a word to the wise: Keep a sharp eye on the Kraken cause it has a tendency to 'fly away' in the winds on anything above an Estes E9! Don't ask me how I know..

The King Kraken prefers to "drive away" in the bed of a hoodlum's pickup.:(

Ask me how I know and I'll have to study all that forgiveness stuff over again.

Thanks everyone.

There will be a build thread when I get it. Its going to be...different.

I went for a SGM for the prize, i'll do a build thread when i get around to building it - won't be too long, cos it looks a great kit.

My prize arrived from Layne today. I am not going to divulge its nature just yet.:dark: Rest assured, though, all of you fans of the classics will be pleased.

Thanks Layne!

I just heard from Layne.

I got a Bonestell and will be posting a beta build thread as soon as I get some of my current messes cleaned up.

Its gonna be great!
