Kind of liked the old way after all I am a BAR. Would like to see the captions of Today, Yesterday and then Dates in the mm-dd-yyyy format

Yes, another vote here to please change it back! Much easier the other way.

Is this any better? It should show 'Today/Yesterday At 2:34pm' and then dates for any posts further back.

That's for sure. *Any* changes will result in at least some criticism.
Personally, I like it the way it is now.

It seems to me he wants the best of both worlds.
I like knowing exactly what time a post was made, especially in follow-ups.
"Yesterday" is to general, 24 hrs in a day; "A Week Ago"7 days in a Week; "A Month Ago" 30 days in a month, etc.
I know doing the math may be a pain in the butt but at least you can do the math.
The other way, there's no math that can figure out when post was actually made when you're using relative time.

It would be nice if it were selectable by each member in our CP. Baring that I will gladly accept whatever way Troy wishes to display it cuz we have our TRF back :)

As far as I can tell there isn't an easy way to add that option to the User CP. I don't see why it shouldn't be, but I'm afraid you're stuck with it the way things are!

Looks good to me. You know it is hard to teach an old dog(BAR) new tricks ;)

The current setup is still an improvement over "recently", "not so recently", and "sometime", so thanks (again) to whoever got it fixed.
